New Construction Inspections
A brand-new home can still have issues. An independent inspection at key stages of construction gives you a second set of eyes and documentation to share with your builder.
Inspection phases
Pre-drywall inspection
Scheduled after framing, rough-in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC are complete, but before insulation and drywall cover the walls. This is the last chance to see what will be hidden.
Final new-construction inspection
Completed before your final walkthrough or closing. A full visual inspection of the finished home so items can be added to your builder punch list.
Builder warranty-period inspection
Scheduled before your builder's one-year warranty expires, to document items that have developed since move-in while the builder is still responsible.
Working with your builder
- Check your purchase agreement for site access rules; some builders require advance notice or an accompanying representative.
- Reports are written to be shared with your builder's warranty or construction team.
- Observations describe conditions seen. Your builder and local building department remain responsible for code compliance.
Availability
Availability depends on the construction stage, builder access policies, project scope, and applicable qualifications. Tell us where the home is in the build process, and we'll confirm what can be inspected and when.
What you receive
- A photo-documented report for each phase inspected
- Findings organized so they can be shared with your builder's punch list or warranty team
- Electronic delivery after each visit

Common questions
Isn't the county already inspecting my home?
Municipal inspectors check specific code items at specific stages. An independent inspection is performed on your behalf and looks at workmanship and visible conditions from a buyer's perspective.
Can I schedule only the final inspection?
Yes. Each phase can be booked on its own, though a pre-drywall visit provides the only chance to see what will be enclosed in the walls.
